Meet Dennis James
I didn’t grow up thinking I’d train people how to handle a gun. I just knew I wanted to be the kind of person who could protect others when it mattered most.
I’ve always believed that safety isn’t something you wait for but something you prepare for.
That belief led me to years of hands-on training, real-world experience, and a mindset that’s constantly learning. I started Peacemakers LLC because I saw too many good people living with fear. Homeowners scared of home invasions. Women unsure of what they’d do if someone attacked them. Churches and small businesses were hoping nothing bad would ever happen, without a real plan if it did.
I couldn’t let that stand.
So I built something different. A business where everyday people could gain real-world skills: firearms safety, self-defense, trauma care, and security assessments, with zero ego, zero judgment, and 100% commitment to making them feel confident, competent, and calm under pressure.
And it turns out, there were a lot of people who felt the same way.
Today, Peacemakers LLC trains homeowners, church security teams, women, small business staff, and anyone ready to protect themselves and others with skill and integrity. This isn’t tactical cosplay. It’s serious training made friendly, real, and empowering.

If you need a course during the week, Peacemakers LLC offers Monday–Thursday training by request only. These weekday sessions are not guaranteed, but we’ll work with you to find the closest available option that fits your needs.
